How Does God Want to Use Your Life?
Matthew 28:18-20:
Jesus said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." |
What is Discipleship?
Discipleship is the process where a person:
(1) Receives eternal life - they enter into a permanent relationship with Jesus (God) that lasts for eternity. This is a one-time event. Then the life-long process begins where they are trained by God's Word, God's Spirit, and God's People to learn: (2) How to grow their relationship with God. (3) How to understand & apply the Bible. (4) How to reach people who need Jesus. (5) How to teach others steps 1-5. As this process is repeated in the lives of others, discipleship and spiritual multiplication take place - the heart of Matthew 28:18-20. |
Discipleship is a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, not a program.

"The fundamental reason you and your church exist is to make disciples of Jesus.”

What are Bible Impact Groups?
Step 1: Start spiritual conversations with people.
As Christians, it's our responsibility to start spiritual conversations with people who don't know Jesus. This becomes very easy when we apply some simple tips:
|
Step 2: Explain how to get right with God - forever.
|
How to Know God
- God says there's only one way to Heaven. - Discover the truth. - It's a matter of life or death. Note: After a person trusts Jesus for salvation, invite them to Step 3 below. |
Step 3: Teach people how to make disciples.
(1) Love God - trust Him daily. (2) Love others - sacrificially. (3) Make disciples of Jesus - spiritual multiplication.
- Invite 1-2 other Christians to join you. - Watch God change lives (including yours). - As you reach people with the Gospel, your group will naturally reproduce. |
Note: If you don't have a two-sided printer, simply upload the Bible Impact Groups file to any office store website (e.g. Staples). You can print as many copies as you need and then pick them up at your convenience. |
